California: (Web Desk) Instant messaging application WhatsApp is now introducing a new feature for users to share photos in HD quality.

According to the technology website, users will be able to share the image using this new feature without changing or degrading the quality of the image, which means that the quality of the images sent and received on WhatsApp will be improved.

Users will be able to use this feature by clicking on the option that appears while sharing the image, whenever sharing a standard or high resolution image, they must select the HD option each time to share the image without degrading the quality. However, even with HD quality, there will be slight compression in the image

This feature is currently rolled out by WhatsApp for some Android and iOS beta version users.

Using the feature in the beta version, users can choose to send images between standard and HD quality.

WhatsApp is likely to introduce this feature to all users in the coming days, but the company has not announced a final date yet.
